MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
April 14, 2026
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding. Council members present: Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes and Anthony Wilson absent: Zachary Bossier and Pam Thomas. A quorum was met. No guest present.
Mr. Mynes opened the Meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Mynes the March minutes were approved. All ayes. Two absent.
The General Bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Mynes. All ayes. Two absent.
The Utility Bills were approved with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. Two absent.
A Resolution to Adopt Millage of 7.13 and 4.29 mills for the year 2026 was approved with a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. Two absent.
Mayor Woods reported most of winter storm’s limbs have been picked up and taken to rodeo arena to burn. Also reported the Sabine River Bass Shootout had 41 teams and
a big crowd turned out.
Events coming up are Love Logansport Clean April 18, 2026, Ninth Annual Tunes, Tails & Tunes April 25, 2026, and River City Fest May 1 & 2, 2026.
Council and Mayor were presented with Public Awareness Notice and Gas System Emergency Plan.
With no further business to discuss meeting was adjourned with a motion by Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Mynes. All ayes. Two absent.
