Logansport is proud of its library and invites all DeSoto Parish residents and the surrounding communities to visit the Logansport Branch of the DeSoto Parish Library System. Within the entry way is a custom wallpaper display of Logansport's past history. Ask about the Brass Riverboat bell, reportedly from the Neches Belle Riverboat that sunk on the near banks of the Sabine River at Logansport. With each donation to the Friends of the Library group you can ring the Riverboat bell just like a River boat captain would have decades ago. All donations will go to the Friends group to purchase items or fund events for the Logansport Branch.
